We have it on video--Obama finally gets
tough. A watershed
moment for Obama akin to the Cuban Missile Crisis. What did Obama do?
He killed a fly! And lucky for America, the lamestream media was there
to document Obama’s act of bravery.
Just when I was questioning his decision not to allow harsh
interrogation, and Obama goes the distance. He also made sure that the
taxpayers would not have to deal with the enemy combatant. Obama was
both judge and jury. Now America is safer for it.
Let’s face it—Obama blew it with the Somali pirates. It was
ultimately a Navy Captain who made the executive decision to kill those
four Somali pirates. And he likely sat in his ship for those couple of
days wondering what the delay was in making the decision. Nevertheless
he was gracious enough to allow his Coward in Chief to get the credit.
That brave Captain must have known that Obama would come into his own,
and show the resolve that built this once great nation. Could we be
rebounding from the punking of America occurring to date? I say, “Yes!”
The question that begs to be asked is “How did that fly got that
close to POTUS?!” Surely heads should roll within the Secret Service.
The potential damage that could have been done to Obama, to America—perish
the thought. If only I had seen it for myself, I could be saying, “I
was doing [blank], when Obama swatted the fly!” A second chance at history.
Admittedly, my self-imposed media blackout of Obama meant that I
could not witness his heroism first-hand. Nevertheless, once I caught
wind of the story, I immediately thought of another Democrat who took a
situation by the horns--one John F. Kerry--and the heroism he showed in
Vietnam, receiving three Purple Hearts...for writing glowing reports of
his bravery in combat. Much like Kerry, Obama too showed courage under
fire.
According to Google, here’s how it all went down:
“During an interview for CNBC at the White House on
Tuesday, a fly intruded on Obama's conversation with correspondent John
Harwood.
"Get out of here," the president told the pesky insect. When it didn't, he waited for the fly to settle, put his hand up and then smacked it dead.
"Now, where were we?" Obama asked Harwood. Then he added: "That was pretty impressive, wasn't it? I got the sucker."”
I assure any doubters that the fly is dead. I saw it on camera for
myself. You just can’t fake that. So the crisis is over...maybe.
Who knows what the real story behind the story will be. Did the fly
act alone? Are there “cells” of flies out there waiting to get
retribution for the harsh treatment of their fellow fly friend. I
predict that it will be determined that the fly was Muslim.
Despite Obama's popularity among Muslims, the US may have hell to
pay, should flies start leaving dirty bombs around. The potential for
germ warfare is a distinct possibility. And what are we to think when
we get the occasional fly on our airplanes when traveling? Flies are
difficult to profile…they all look alike.
In analyzing Obama’s comments, I must say that he seemed pretty excited to have accomplished something. “…impressive, wasn’t it?” he bragged. He didn’t wait for us to acknowledge that he had actually accomplished something. He was so bold to make sure that we knew it. Now that my friends is leadership!
Here's the wrap:
The fly had been warned. Recall Obama said to the fly, “Get out of here.”
And when the fly didn’t leave, Obama laid down the law. He had no
choice. Obama gave the fly more than his normal harsh words.
Outcome: Obama - 1, Fly – 0!
However, in what will likely have the fly lobby up in arms, Obama
referred to the fly as “sucker.” That will likely cost him some votes,
but Obama stands at the ready with ACORN to offset the fly vote.
I must say that I now take comfort in Obama’s ability to handle
rogue dictators and aggressive nations. I believe that Operation Fly
Kill was meant to be a warning to Iran, North Korea, Russia, the world
that Obama is a man of action, not just words, and he is not to be
trifled with. That fly was a metaphor that Obama will indeed kill something, and he can act quickly and decisively.
Just when many of us were beginning to feel that the media are
nothing more than lapdogs for Obama, they bring us hard-hitting news
like this. Potential crisis averted—documented, on the record. Without the media, we might never have known how brave Obama was in thwarting an attack…from a fly!
That’s my rant!
